Transparent tape is used so as not to catch the tweezers when applying eyelash extensions. It also comes handy to stretch the eyelids of clients to better access the eyelashes at the root.
CAUTION: This plaster is very sticky so you can, before positioning it on your client, remove a little material by applying it on your wrist.
